People often ask me why I write legal thrillers when I don’t come from a legal background.

The answer is simple: I’ve always been fascinated by stories where truth is hidden beneath layers of deception, where every witness has a secret, and where justice is never as straightforward as it seems.

Growing up, I devoured books by authors like John Grisham, Michael Connelly, and Richard North Patterson. Their stories weren’t just about courtrooms—they were about people. About choices. About consequences.

When I began writing my own novels, I wanted to create stories that combined suspense, mystery, and emotional depth. That’s how the Sloane Mercer series was born.

Sloane is intelligent, determined, and relentless in her pursuit of the truth. Through her eyes, readers are invited into a world where every case has unexpected twists and every answer raises new questions.
